36 for (A)they cannot die anymore, because they are (B)equal to angels and (C)are (D)sons of God, being (E)sons[a] of the resurrection. 37 But that the dead are raised, (F)even Moses showed, in (G)the passage about the bush, where he calls (H)the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. 38 Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all (I)live to him.”

They are God’s children,(A) since they are children of the resurrection. 37 But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’[a](B) 38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”
