37 But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed[a] at the bush [in Ex 3:16]— when he calls the Lord the ‘God of Abraham and God of Isaac and God of Jacob’. 38 Now He is not God of dead ones, but of living ones. For to Him all are alive”. 39 And having responded, some of the scribes said, “Teacher, You spoke well”.

New International Version
37 But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’[a](A) 38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”
39 Some of the teachers of the law responded, “Well said, teacher!”
