³⁵ And ^(A)the people stood by, watching, ^(B)but ^(C)the rulers ^(D)scoffed at him, saying, ^(E)“He saved others; ^(F)let him save himself, ^(G)if he is ^(H)the Christ of God, ^(I)his Chosen One!”

¹⁸ But what God ^(A)foretold ^(B)by the mouth of all the prophets, that ^(C)his Christ would ^(D)suffer, he thus fulfilled.

¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now ^(A)the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers^[a] has been thrown down, ^(B)who accuses them day and night before our God.

¹⁷ So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to ^(A)the Christ fourteen generations.
