⁴⁶Jesus called out with a loud voice,^(A) “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”^[a]^(B) When he had said this, he breathed his last.^(C)

⁴⁶And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

⁵⁹While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”^(A)
