26 They said that the Christ must suffer these things before he enters his glory.” 27 Then starting with what Moses and all the prophets had said about him, Jesus began to explain everything that had been written about himself in the Scriptures.
28 They came near the town of Emmaus, and Jesus acted as if he were going farther.

28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus continued on as if he were going farther.
