24 And he said, “Truly, I say to you, (A)no prophet is acceptable in his home town. 25 But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when (B)the heavens were shut up three years and six months, and a great famine came over all the land, 26 and Elijah was sent to none of them (C)but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

24 “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown.(A) 25 I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land.(B) 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.(C)
