38 (A)Then He stood up and left the synagogue, and entered Simon’s home. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was (B)suffering from a high fever, and they asked Him [a]to help her. 39 And standing over her, He (C)rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she stood up and [b]began waiting on them.

40 (D)And while (E)the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and (F)laying His hands on each one of them, He was (G)healing them.

Jesus Heals Many(A)(B)

38 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39 So he bent over her and rebuked(C) the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.

40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one,(D) he healed them.(E)
