Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man To Prove He Has The Authority To Forgive Sins
17 And it came about on one of the days, that He was teaching. And Pharisees and Law-teachers were sitting there who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present that He might be healing. 18 And behold— men bringing on a bed a man who had been paralyzed. And they were seeking to bring him in, and to place him before Him.

16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.(A)
Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(B)
17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law(C) were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.(D) 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.
