16 But Jesus Himself would often slip away [a]to the [b]wilderness and (A)pray.

17 [c]One day He was teaching; and (B)there were some Pharisees and (C)teachers of the law sitting there, who had (D)come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and (E)the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing. 18 (F)And some men were carrying on a [d]bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.

17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law(C) were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.(D) 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.
