21 (A)Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be satisfied: (B)blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 (C)Blessed are ye when men hate you, and when [a]they separate you, and revile you, and put out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and [b]be glad: for behold, your reward is great in heaven: for after this manner their fathers did to the Prophets:

21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
for you will be satisfied.(A)
Blessed are you who weep now,
for you will laugh.(B)
22 Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you(C) and insult you(D)
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.(E)
23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy,(F) because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.(G)
