26 Just[a] as it was[b] in the days of Noah,[c] so too it will be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People[d] were eating,[e] they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage—right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then[f] the flood came and destroyed them all.[g] 28 Likewise, just as it was[h] in the days of Lot, people[i] were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building;
