7 And when they[a] saw it,[b] they all began to complain,[c] saying, “He has gone in to find lodging with a man who is a sinner!” 8 And Zacchaeus stopped and[d] said to the Lord, “Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I am giving to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I am paying it[e] back four times as much!” 9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham.
