^7 (A)that the Son of Man ^(B)must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and ^(C)be crucified and on ^(D)the third day rise.”

⁴⁴ Then he said to them, ^(A)“These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, ^(B)that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

⁴⁶ and said to them, “Thus ^(A)it is written, ^(B)that the Christ should suffer and on the third day ^(C)rise from the dead,

¹⁰ For it ^(A)was fitting that he, ^(B)for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons ^(C)to glory, should make the ^(D)founder of their salvation ^(E)perfect through suffering.

² looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, ^(A)who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising ^(B)the shame, and ^(C)is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹¹ enquiring ^(A)what person or time ^(B)the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating ^(C)when he predicted ^(D)the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.

¹⁸ But what God ^(A)foretold ^(B)by the mouth of all the prophets, that ^(C)his Christ would ^(D)suffer, he thus fulfilled.
