Malachi 2:16-17
Christian Standard Bible
16 “If he hates(A) and divorces his wife,”(B) says the Lord God of Israel, “he[a] covers his garment with injustice,”(C) says the Lord of Armies. Therefore, watch yourselves carefully,[b] and do not act treacherously.
Judgment at the Lord’s Coming
17 You have wearied the Lord(D) with your words.
Yet you ask, “How have we wearied him?”
When you say, “Everyone who does what is evil is good in the Lord’s sight, and he is delighted with them,(E) or else where is the God of justice?” (F)

New International Version
16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,(A)” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,”[a](B) says the Lord Almighty.
So be on your guard,(C) and do not be unfaithful.
Breaking Covenant Through Injustice
17 You have wearied(D) the Lord with your words.
“How have we wearied him?” you ask.(E)
By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased(F) with them” or “Where is the God of justice?(G)”
