8 But you have turned aside from the way. You have made many fall by your teaching. You have sinned against the agreement of Levi,” says the Lord of All. 9 “So I have made you hated and ashamed in front of all the people, for you are not keeping My ways. You have shown favor to certain people when you teach them.”

10 “Do we not all have one Father? Has not one God made us? Why can we not be trusted by one another? Why do we sin against the agreement of our fathers?

8 But you have turned from the way(A) and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;(B) you have violated the covenant(C) with Levi,”(D) says the Lord Almighty. 9 “So I have caused you to be despised(E) and humiliated(F) before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality(G) in matters of the law.”(H)
Breaking Covenant Through Divorce
10 Do we not all have one Father[a]?(I) Did not one God create us?(J) Why do we profane the covenant(K) of our ancestors by being unfaithful(L) to one another?
