As Predicted By Isaiah, John The Baptist Came To Prepare The Way For The Messiah

Just as it has been written in Isaiah[a] the prophet— “Behold, I am sending-forth My messenger ahead of Your presence[b], who will make Your way ready: A voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; be making His paths straight’”— John came[c], the one baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

as it is written in Isaiah the prophet:

“I will send my messenger ahead of you,

And so John the Baptist(C) appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance(D) for the forgiveness of sins.(E)
