²⁴ saying, “^(A)What ^[a]business do you have with us, Jesus ^[b]of ^(B)Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are: ^(C)the Holy One of God!”

⁵ They answered Him, “Jesus the Nazarene.” He *said to them, “I am He.” And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them.

⁷ He then asked them again, “^(A)Whom are you seeking?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

¹⁹ Now Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written: “^(A)JESUS THE NAZARENE, ^(B)THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
