40 Then(A) a man with leprosy[a](B) came to him and, on his knees,[b](C) begged him, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”(D) 41 Moved with compassion,[c](E) Jesus reached out his hand and touched(F) him. “I am willing,” he told him. “Be made clean.” 42 Immediately the leprosy(G) left him, and he was made clean. 43 Then he sternly warned(H) him and sent him away(I) at once, 44 telling him, “See that you say nothing to anyone;(J) but go and show(K) yourself to the priest,(L) and offer(M) what Moses commanded for your cleansing,(N) as a testimony(O) to them.”[d]

Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy(A)
40 A man with leprosy[a] came to him and begged him on his knees,(B) “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”
41 Jesus was indignant.[b] He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” 42 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
43 Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: 44 “See that you don’t tell this to anyone.(C) But go, show yourself to the priest(D) and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing,(E) as a testimony to them.”

12 While he was in one of the towns, a man was there who had leprosy[a] all over him.(A) He saw Jesus, fell facedown, and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
13 Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him,(B) saying, “I am willing; be made clean,” and immediately the leprosy left him. 14 Then he ordered him to tell no one:(C) “But go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses commanded for your cleansing as a testimony to them.”

13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.
