Mark 11:16-18

16 and would not permit anyone to carry goods through the temple complex.
17 Then He began to teach them: “Is it not written,(A) My house(B) will be called a house of prayer(C) for all nations?[a] But you have made it a den of thieves!”(D)[b] 18 Then the chief priests and the scribes(E) heard it and started looking for a way to destroy Him. For they were afraid(F) of Him, because the whole crowd was astonished by His teaching.

16 and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. 17 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’[a]?(A) But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’[b]”(B)
18 The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him,(C) because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching.(D)
