46 Joseph[a] bought some linen cloth, took the body[b] down, wrapped it in the cloth, laid it in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. 47 Now Mary Magdalene[c] and Mary the mother of Joseph observed where the body[d] had been laid.

46 So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.(A) 47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph(B) saw where he was laid.
