Mark 3:7-9 Disciples’ Literal New Testament (DLNT)
A Great Multitude Comes To Jesus To Be Healed
7 And Jesus withdrew[a] to the sea with His disciples, and a great multitude from Galilee followed. And from Judea, 8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude hearing all that He was doing came to Him. 9 And He said to His disciples that a small-boat should be standing-ready-for Him because of the crowd— in order that they might not be pressing[b] Him.
Mark 3:7-9 New International Version (NIV)
Crowds Follow Jesus
7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed. 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon. 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.
