Mark 3:7-9 Disciples’ Literal New Testament (DLNT)

A Great Multitude Comes To Jesus To Be Healed

And Jesus withdrew[a] to the sea with His disciples, and a great multitude from Galilee followed. And from Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude hearing all that He was doing came to Him. And He said to His disciples that a small-boat should be standing-ready-for Him because of the crowd— in order that they might not be pressing[b] Him.

Mark 3:7-9 New International Version (NIV)

Crowds Follow Jesus

Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed. When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon. Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.
