⁴¹ Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”

⁵⁴ But He ^[a]put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, ^(A)arise.”

⁴³ Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”

⁴⁰ But Peter ^(A)put them all out, and ^(B)knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he ^(C)said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

¹⁷ (as it is written, ^(A)“I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, ^(B)who gives life to the dead and calls those ^(C)things which do not exist as though they did;
