6 And He was amazed(A) at their unbelief.(B)
Commissioning the Twelve
Now He was going around the villages in a circuit, teaching.(C) 7 He(D) summoned(E) the Twelve(F) and began to send(G) them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean(H) spirits.(I) 8 He instructed them to take nothing for the road except a walking stick: no bread, no traveling bag,(J) no money in their belts.

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve(A)
Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.(B) 7 Calling the Twelve to him,(C) he began to send them out two by two(D) and gave them authority over impure spirits.(E)
8 These were his instructions: “Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.
