¹² “Elijah does come first and restores^(A) all things,”^(B) he replied. “Why then is it written^(C) that the Son of Man must suffer^(D) many things and be treated with contempt?^(E)

⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though he was rich,^(A) for your sake he became poor,^(B) so that by his poverty you might become rich.

⁴ For he was crucified^(A) in weakness, but he lives^(B) by the power of God. For we also are weak in him,^(C) but in dealing with you we will live^(D) with him by God’s power.
