Preaching in Galilee

³⁵ Very^(A) early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place.^(B) And He was praying^(C) there. ³⁶ Simon^(D) and his companions went searching for Him. ³⁷ They found Him and said, “Everyone’s looking for You!”

³⁸ And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach^(E) there too. This is why I have come.” ³⁹ So He went into all of Galilee,^(F) preaching in their synagogues^(G) and driving out demons.

Preaching in Galilee

⁴² When it was day, He went out and made His way to a deserted place.^(A) But the crowds were searching for Him. They came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving them. ⁴³ But He said to them, “I must proclaim the good news about the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because I was sent for this purpose.” ⁴⁴ And He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.^[a](B)
