²⁵ And whenever you ^(A)stand praying, ^(B)forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you for your ^[a]offenses.

¹¹ The Pharisee ^(A)stood and began praying this in regard to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, crooked, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

¹³ But the tax collector, ^(A)standing some distance away, ^(B)was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but ^(C)was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be ^[a]merciful to me, the sinner!’
