Matthew 1:20-22

20 While Joseph was thinking about this, an angel from the Lord appeared to him in a dream. The angel said, “Joseph, the baby that Mary will have is from the Holy Spirit. Go ahead and marry her. 21 (A) Then after her baby is born, name him Jesus,[a] because he will save his people from their sins.”
22 So the Lord's promise came true, just as the prophet had said,

20 But after he had considered this, an angel(A) of the Lord appeared to him in a dream(B) and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[a](C) because he will save his people from their sins.”(D)
22 All this took place to fulfill(E) what the Lord had said through the prophet:
