The Son Gives Knowledge and Rest

²⁵ At that time Jesus said,^(A) “I praise^[a] You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to infants.^(B)

⁸ Jesus sent Peter and John,^(A) saying, “Go and prepare the Passover meal for us, so we can eat it.”

¹⁵ Then the Jews were amazed and said, “How does He know the Scriptures,^(A) since He hasn’t been trained?”
