32 Although it is the smallest of[a] all seeds, when it is fully grown it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, and the birds in the sky come and nest in its branches.”
33 He told them another parable: “The kingdom from[b] heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with[c] three measures of flour until all of it was leavened.”

34 Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables. He did not tell them anything without using[d] a parable.

34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.(E)
