²³ And after He had sent the crowds away, ^(A)He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.

^35 (A)And in the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus rose up, went out of the house, and went away to a desolate place, and ^(B)was praying there.

Jesus Appoints the Twelve

¹² Now it happened that ^[a]at this time He went off to ^(A)the mountain to ^(B)pray, and He was spending the whole night in prayer to God.
