18 And I also say unto thee, that thou art [a]Peter, and upon this [b]rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20 Then charged he the disciples that they should tell no man that he was the Christ.

18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[a](A) and on this rock I will build my church,(B) and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys(C) of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.”(D) 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone(E) that he was the Messiah.
