¹⁹ I will give you the keys^(A) of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be^[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be^[b] loosed in heaven.”^{(B) 20} Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone^(C) that he was the Messiah.

Jesus Predicts His Death^(D)

²¹ From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem^(E) and suffer many things^(F) at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law,^(G) and that he must be killed^(H) and on the third day^(I) be raised to life.^(J)
