His Death and Resurrection Predicted

²¹ From^(A) then on Jesus began to point out to his disciples that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be killed, and be raised the third day.^(B)

³³ and after they flog him, they will kill him, and he will rise on the third day.”^(A)

²⁴ God raised him up, ending the pains of death,^(A) because it was not possible for him to be held by death.
