5 And they said to him, “(A)In Bethlehem of Judea; for this is what has been written [a]by the prophet:
6 ‘(B)And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah,
Are by no means least among the leaders of Judah;
For out of you shall come forth a Leader
Who will (C)shepherd My people Israel.’”
7 Then Herod secretly called the magi and carefully determined from them [b]the time (D)the star appeared.
