The Sadducees and the Resurrection

^23 (A)On that day some ^(B)Sadducees (who say ^(C)there is no resurrection) came to Jesus and asked Him a question, ²⁴ saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘^(D)If a man dies having no children, his brother as next of kin shall marry his wife and raise up a seed for his brother.’ ²⁵ Now there were seven brothers with us; and the first married and died, and having no ^[a]seed, he left his wife to his brother;
