²² And if those days had not been cut short, no ^[a]life would have been saved; but for ^(A)the sake of the ^[b]elect those days will be cut short.

³³ Who will bring charges against ^(A)God’s elect? ^(B)God is the one who justifies;

¹² So, as those who have been ^(A)chosen of God, holy and beloved, ^(B)put on a ^(C)heart of compassion, kindness, ^(D)humility, gentleness, and ^[a](E)patience;

¹⁰ For this reason ^(A)I endure all things for ^(B)the sake of ^[a]those who are chosen, ^(C)so that they also may obtain the ^(D)salvation which is in ^(E)Christ Jesus and with it ^(F)eternal glory.
