⁵ For ^(A)many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the ^[a]Christ,’ and will deceive many.

²⁴ For false christs and ^(A)false prophets will arise and will ^[a]show great ^[b](B)signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even ^(C)the ^[c]elect.

¹⁸ Children, ^(A)it is the last hour; and just as you heard that ^(B)antichrist is coming, ^(C)even now many antichrists have appeared. From this we know that it is the last hour.

³ and every spirit that ^(A)does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the ^(B)antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and ^(C)now it is already in the world.

⁷ For ^(A)many deceivers have ^(B)gone out into the world, those who ^(C)do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is ^(D)the deceiver and the ^(E)antichrist.
