²³ “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here’s the Messiah,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. ²⁴ For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up^[a] and show great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen. ²⁵ See, I have told you beforehand.
