14 ‘For it is as if a man, going on a journey, summoned his slaves and entrusted his property to them; 15 to one he gave five talents,[b] to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.

14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey,(C) who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability.(D) Then he went on his journey.
