37 (A)He took along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee,[a] and began to feel sorrow and distress. 38 (B)Then he said to them, “My soul is sorrowful even to death.[b] Remain here and keep watch with me.” 39 (C)He advanced a little and fell prostrate in prayer, saying, “My Father,[c] if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.”

37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee(A) along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow(B) to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”(C)
39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup(D) be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”(E)

38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
