²⁷ And having taken a cup and given-thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, everyone. ²⁸ For this is My blood of ^[a] the covenant— the blood being poured-out for many for forgiveness of sins. ²⁹ And I say to you, I will by-no-means drink of this fruit of the grapevine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of My Father”.
