Matthew 27:40-42
Darby Translation
40 and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou art Son of God, descend from the cross.
41 [And] in like manner the chief priests also, mocking, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others, himself he cannot save. He is King of Israel: let him descend now from the cross, and we will believe on him.

40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days,(A) save yourself!(B) Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”(C) 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. 42 “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel!(D) Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe(E) in him.
