^57 (A)Now when it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus.

^50 (A)And behold, a man named Joseph, who was a ^(B)Council member, a good and righteous man ⁵¹ (he had not consented to their counsel and action), a man from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was ^(C)waiting for the kingdom of God;

⁵⁰ But ^(A)the Jews incited the ^[a](B)God-fearing women ^(C)of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their ^[b]district.

¹² Therefore ^(A)many of them believed, along with not a few ^(B)prominent Greek ^(C)women and men.
