²³Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’^(A)

²³And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

¹⁶They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him.^(A) They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.^(B)
