2 Suddenly, a leper[a] came up to him, fell down before him, and said, “Sir,[b] if you want to, you can make me clean.”[c]
3 So Jesus[d] reached out his hand, touched him, and said, “I do want to. Be clean!” And instantly his leprosy was made clean. 4 Then Jesus told him, “See to it that you don’t speak to anyone. Instead, go and show yourself to the priest, and then offer the sacrifice that Moses commanded[e] as proof to the authorities.”[f]

2 A man with leprosy[a](A) came and knelt before him(B) and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. 4 Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone.(C) But go, show yourself to the priest(D) and offer the gift Moses commanded,(E) as a testimony to them.”
