¹⁸ While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him^(B) and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her,^(C) and she will live.”

²⁵ The woman came and knelt before him.^(A) “Lord, help me!” she said.

²⁶ “At this the servant fell on his knees before him.^(A) ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’
