⁸ When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God,^(A) who had given such authority to man.

³³ And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”^(A)

²⁰ For the Father loves the Son^(A) and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these,^(B) so that you will be amazed.

²¹ Jesus said to them, “I did one miracle,^(A) and you are all amazed.

¹² When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
