The Power of Jesus over a Demon

¹⁴ When they reached the crowd,^(A) a man approached and knelt down before him.

²⁹ They twisted together a crown of thorns, put it on his head, and placed a staff in his right hand. And they knelt down before him and mocked him: “Hail, king of the Jews!”

⁴⁰ Then^(A) a man with leprosy^[a](B) came to him and, on his knees,^[b](C) begged him, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”^(D)
