²³ and came and settled in a city called ^(A)Nazareth. This happened so that what was spoken through the prophets would be fulfilled: “He will be called a ^(B)Nazarene.”

Jesus’ Birth Foretold

²⁶ Now in the sixth month the angel ^(A)Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee named ^(B)Nazareth,

⁵¹ And He went down with them and came to ^(A)Nazareth, and He continued to be subject to them; and ^(B)His mother ^(C)treasured all these ^[a]things in her heart.

¹⁶ And He came to ^(A)Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, ^(B)He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and ^(C)stood up to read.
