²⁸ Be on guard for yourselves and for all ^(A)the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you ^[a]overseers, to shepherd ^(B)the church of God which ^(C)He ^[b]purchased ^[c]with His own blood.

² shepherd ^(A)the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, ^(B)not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and ^(C)not ^[a]with greed but with eagerness;

¹⁷ for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their ^(A)shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the ^[a](B)water of life; and ^(C)God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”
